西尔维亚.普拉斯的诗歌中充满着“死亡”或者“毁灭”的表述与意象,但是死亡并不是她想要达到的终极目标,可以说,死亡仅是普拉斯通往另外一种心灵境界的途径而已;死亡与毁灭,只是普拉斯人生理想的另一种释放。通过分析普拉斯诗歌作品中的意象与内涵,探究诗歌中所体现的生存观,即毁灭与永生的意蕴与阐释,以及它们之间的关系,可以为广大民众带来关于人生观与价值观方面的另一种思考,从而对毁灭与永生这个长久以来一直被人们所苦苦思索的命题产生一种新的理解。
Sylvia Plath’s poetry is full of “death” or “destruction” of the expression and image, but death is not the ultimate goal she wants to achieve, it can be said that death is only Plath Path to another spiritual state only; death and destruction, but another Plath life ideal release. By analyzing the images and connotations in Plath’s poems and exploring the conceptions of life, that is, the implication and interpretation of destruction and eternal life, as well as the relations between them, we can bring about the outlook on life and values for the general public In order to create a new understanding of the subject of destruction and eternal life, a long-held and often thought-provoking one.
