不论是写作资源的累积、人物关系的设置,还是文化的凸显,北京意象都是铁凝小说创作的有机组成部分。在铁凝的文学世界里,北京意象不仅以城市面貌呈现,更多时候是通过人物的身体表现北京城特质的不同侧面。曾经与北京有过关联的外省人离开北京常带有优越感,在她们对“北京人”的身体想象中保留着对北京的依恋和向往。在“仁义”白大省的自我身体建构的矛盾中,寄托着作者对北京胡同文化“仁义”精神传承的留恋和审视。
Whether it is the accumulation of writing resources, the setting of human relations, or the highlighting of culture, Beijing imagery is an integral part of Tie Ning’s novels. In Tie Ning’s literary world, the image of Beijing is not only presented in the form of a city, but more often than not, through the characters’ bodies, the different aspects of Beijing’s character. The people of other provinces who had been associated with Beijing often left Beijing with a sense of superiority and retained their attachment and longing for Beijing in their imagination of the Beijingers. In the contradiction of the self-body construction of “Benevolence” and “Bai Yung-wei” in Ba-Da, the book lays the nostalgia and examination on the moral heritage of Beijing’s Hutong culture.
