The coat protein gene of barley yellow dwarf virus (CPV) strain was introduced into wheat cultivars by pollen tube pathway and particle bombardment to obtain transgenic wheat lines resistant to barley yellow dwarf virus CPV strain. The transgenic plants were tested by PCR and soutnern, and CP Genes can be transmitted stably to T3 generation. After incubation in greenhouse and field with artificial insemination, some obvious offspring with disease resistance were obtained and tested by ELISA
