Xing’an League is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, located in Daxinganling to Horqin grassland and Songnen Plain transition zone. One third of Hsien’s territory is grassland, and one-fourth of the area is forest. Nearly one-fifth of the area is a nature reserve of wetland type.
