２０００年我市从齐齐哈尔市引进肇东苜蓿种子进行了引种栽培试验，试验结果表明：肇东苜蓿在我市播种当年出苗快、长势好、扎根深、产量高、草质好、适应性强、抗逆性好，具有进一步中试试验的价值和具备种子自繁的潜力。
In 2000, the city introduced the seeds of Zhaodong alfalfa from Qiqihar City for introduction and cultivation experiments.
