The immunity testing center is under the direct leadership of the Cuban State Council. It was founded in September 1987 and is derived from the Cuban National Academy of Sciences. The center is a scientific research institution closely integrated with scientific research and production. It has “animal testing room”, “freeze-drying laboratory”, “purification laboratory”, “titration laboratory”, “filtration laboratory” and “quality inspection ”laboratories," and factories that produce reagents and instruments. It is mainly engaged in the development and production of reagents and instruments for diagnosing diseases that affect human health. The center is a scientific research institute affiliated with the Cuban Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Health, and the University of Havana.
