The design of modern museums attaches great importance to the control of the quality of the air environment. The harmful pollutants in the air will have a very serious adverse impact on the safe preservation of cultural relics. In the relevant national museum design specifications, there is a definite limit to air pollutants Natural ventilation is still widely used in modern architectural design due to its great advantages in energy saving and emission reduction. Combined with the ventilation technology renovation of a large exhibition hall of a museum in China, numerical model simulation technology is used to guide the reforming design and predict the ventilation effect after the renovation. The simulation results show that the use of the local geographical environment and the full use of natural ventilation can effectively improve the ventilation effect of the exhibition hall and the main space for personnel activities in the exhibition hall. The pollutant concentration is reduced while the thermal comfort is also improved.
