随着中国加入世界贸易组织以后对外开放的日益扩大和加深,中国农业与世界农业的关联度将进一步增强。在这个大背景下,怎样看待我国农业发展面临的机遇与挑战,是大家十分关心的问题。有同志说,机遇只能被一部分有准备的人抓住,而挑战是每个人都面对的,这话有道理。对于加入世界贸易组织后带来的机遇与挑战,我们必须下大力气做好充分的准备,只有这样,才能应对自如,把不利影响减少到最低限度,把有利条件用足,使我国农业获得更好发展。
With China’s accession to the World Trade Organization, its opening up to the outside world will be further widened and deepened, the correlation between China’s agriculture and world agriculture will be further enhanced. Against this background, it is a matter of great concern to everyone how to view the opportunities and challenges China faces in agricultural development. Some comrades have made the point that it is only fair that the opportunities can only be met by a part of the prepared people, and the challenge is everyone’s face. We must make great efforts to fully prepare for the opportunities and challenges brought about after China’s accession to the World Trade Organization.
