西浦公司最近研制成功的8000系列自动换刀数控机床包括三种型号,主轴为立式,三座标数控(并有一小型计算机),备有自动换刀装置。三种型号为55、65及75,工作台最大行程(X 座标)分别为900、1200及2000毫米。主轴行程(Y 座标)为600、900及1200毫米。横梁行程(Z 座标)为750、950及1450毫米。主轴电机为10千瓦,主轴转速范围为10～3000转/分。切削率:以加工布氏硬度220的铸铁件为例,镗削为250厘米~3/分,钻削300厘米~3/分,钻削400厘米~3/分。1974年9月在美国芝加哥市举办的国际机床展览会上第一次展出了该系列的中型机床65型。这一型号机床的工作面积为1160×1700毫米。立柱间最大距离为1380毫米,工作台表面与主轴端面的最大距离为1100毫米。工作台最大承载量为4000公斤,床身最大变形为1.25微米/吨。与其他型号机床一样,65型机床运动部件移动速度在0～6米/分
