平桂矿务局新桂粗选厂处理的原矿是残坡积、冲积砂矿和以前堆积的尾矿。1966年该厂采用离心选矿机作为主要的矿泥选别设备,产出矿泥锡粗精矿。西湾精选厂用皮带溜槽、离心选矿机和矿泥摇床等设备组成的精选流程进行精选。由于该精选流程比较复杂,设备多,从1979年起我们进行了简化精选流程试验,并获得预期效果。1978年8月,简化的矿泥精选流程投入生产。本文叙述矿
