粉煤灰密实砌块(以下简称砌块)建筑始于1957年,经过20多年的推广、改进,已经有了较成熟的经验,仅上海地区就已经建造住宅500多万平方米。其特点是,砌块的生产工艺简单,能利用工业废渣——粉煤灰、煤矸石、煤渣、钢渣……,即解决了污染问题,又解决了建筑工程所需大量原材料;而且施工简便,可以充分利用小型施工机具,施工周期短,对于当前飞速发展的住宅建设,更具有现实意义。
