一九五三年體育工作基本總結一年來,在中央體委「結合實際情况開展羣眾性的體育運動,並逐步地使之普及和經常化」的工作方針指導下;在中共黨委和人民政府的领导下;在有關部門的配合與支持下,特別是毛主席向全国青年發出「身體好、學習好、工作好」的號召及中共中央關於黨在過渡時期總路线總任務的提出,極大地激励了全體體育工作者的工作積極性;因而,一九五三年我省在體育工作上獲得了一定的成績。主要的是:
