How to properly solve the social burden of state-owned enterprises is one of the key problems that troubles the reform of state-owned enterprises and the reform of state-owned assets management system. This article will highlight Australia’s successful experience in resolving the social burden of state-owned enterprises - the CSO policy and its application and the prospect of applying the essence of this policy to the practice of SOE reform in China.
