阅读理解是英语高考试卷的主要组成部分。在传统的英语阅读教学中,由于受到种种限制,教学效果总是不理想,也很难达到新课标的具体要求。很多教师开始尝试基于网络资源的英语阅读教学,但在感受互联网便捷性、交互性、超时空性以及资源共享性的同时,也遇到了诸多问题,如网络众多冗余信息,学生容易迷航;网络信息缺乏真实性,不利于学生形成正确观点;校园网上的资源有限;教师的备课量增加等。中小学数字图书馆作为基础教育信息化的重要组成部分,已逐步走进校园,并发挥着资源的针对性、丰富性、规范性、合法性、持续性等优势,弥补网络环境下英语阅读教学存在的不足。
