胡锦涛同志在今年7月召开的全国统战工作会议上的重要讲话中,深刻阐述了宗教问题和宗教工作,从党和国家事业发展的战略高度,提出了正确认识和处理宗教关系这一重大的理论和实践课题,揭示了宗教工作在构建社会主义和谐社会中的重要作用,明确指出新形势下做好宗教工作的关键是贯彻党的宗教工作基本方针和落实宗教事务条例。胡锦涛同志的重要讲话,体现了科学发展观的基本精神,对于我们做好新世纪新阶段的宗教工作具有十分重要的指导意义。本期,我们约请了湖南、上海、辽宁、四川、广东五省市宗教工作部门负责人,就“科学发展观与宗教工作”进行笔谈,希望能够引起大家对这一重要课题的深入思考,并由以推动宗教工作在构建社会主义和谐社会中发挥更大的作用。
