高等院校培养人才的素质如何,对我国社会主义事业的前途关系重大,若干年后,国家各级领导干部和各方面专家、学者,将主要从受过高等教育的优秀人员中产生。把大学生精心培养成德、智、体全面发展的“四有”人才,是高教战线的光荣使命。完成这一光荣任务的关键是加强学生的思想政治教育。这就要求我们认真研究当代大学生的特点,找出近几年工作中的差距,努力探索思想政治工作的科学途径。只有切实有效地开展好思想政治教育工作,才能为培养德才兼备的社会主义建设人才,做出应有的贡献。
The qualities of personnel training institutions of higher learning have a great bearing on the future of our socialist cause. After some years, leading cadres at various levels and experts and scholars from various fields in our country will mainly come from the excellent personnel with higher education. It is the glorious mission of the higher education front that the university students should be well-trained to cultivate the “four talents” who have become all-round virtue, intellectual and physical development. The key to accomplish this glorious task is to strengthen students’ ideological and political education. This requires that we carefully study the characteristics of contemporary college students, identify the gaps in their work in recent years, and strive to explore a scientific approach to ideological and political work. Only by carrying out ideological and political education in an effective and effective manner can we make due contributions to cultivating socialist talents with both ability and political integrity.
