二至丸本方出自《证治准绳》,由旱莲草、女贞子二味组成,为治肝肾阴虚之剂。考“二至”系指二十四节气中之夏至与冬至,为本方二味药物生药之采集时间。旱莲草系草本植物,盛夏繁茂,夏至采之,茎叶健壮,汁黑液足。女贞子又称冬青子,其禀天地至阴之气,其木隆冬不凋,冬至采之,果实熟透,味全气厚。汪昂在《医方集解》中云:“冬青子即女贞实,冬至日采,不拘多少,阴干。蜜酒拌
