Stark Regional Transportation Authority (SARTA) plans to launch fuel cell buses in the fall of 2016. It is estimated that by the end of 2017, the total number of fuel cell buses will reach seven. In addition, SARTA is also building a fuel cell hydrogen refueling station at its headquarters. The cost of building a hydrogen refueling station is estimated at $ 1.6 million and will begin in February 2016 with a construction time of 6 to 8 months. Air Products, Inc. Will help build and maintain hydrogen refueling stations and provide hydrogen. The hydrogen refueling station will be the largest hydrogen refueling station in the United States outside of California and will be open to the public.
