布鲁斯音乐是黑人民族文化艺术形式之一。当代美国女作家托妮·莫里森在小说创作中常常借鉴布鲁斯音乐的模式和特点组织小说结构、描写人物心理、展开故事情节,反映黑人生活、文化和命运。结合布鲁斯音乐的呼唤与回应模式、即兴演唱以及重复三个显著特点,莫里森在新作《家》中巧妙运用了双线叙述结构、重复叙事和意识流等写作特点将过去与现在进行融合。
Bruce music is one of the black ethnic culture and art form. Contemporary American female writer Toni Morrison often draws lessons from Bruce’s music patterns and features in his novels, organizes the structure of novels, describes the psychology of characters, expands the storyline, and reflects the life, culture and destiny of blacks. Combining with the call and response pattern of Bruce music, improvisation and repetition, Morrison made a clever use of the dual narrative structure in the new home, such as repetitive narrative and stream of consciousness, to integrate the past with the present.
