抗日战争时期迁移汉中地区的各类大中专学校,在极其艰苦的条件下坚持办学,不仅维持和保护了国家宝贵的教育人才资源,也汇聚了中华文化优秀教育传统在特殊时期所呈现的精神特质,即强烈的爱国精神、以苦为乐的乐观精神、诚笃朴实的合作精神、无私无畏的奉献精神,从而培养出了具有优秀品质的人才,为抗战胜利奠定了坚实的精神基础。
