短跑运动对运动员的爆发力、耐力、体力、灵敏性、心理状态等都有一定的要求,因此短跑训练方法也会多种多样,只有正确认识到短跑训练的各种方法以及作用,才能根据运动员的身体发育状况、心态、肌肉状况、性别、年龄以及短跑运动的运动器材、场地、训练时间等不同来安排不同的短跑训练,以发挥短跑运动员的潜能,最终取得短跑运动的良好成绩。
