In the traditional video coding, in order to ensure the image quality, using standard video encoder module. However, this method has a large amount of computation and coding time is long. In order to solve this problem effectively, this paper proposes an adaptive control method to improve the video coding, and combines the fast DCT algorithm and approximate calculation to further improve the coding speed. Under the premise of ensuring the image quality, fast video image encoding
