作为电视人,经常在思考的一个问题是:我们的职业在所处的时代中该是一种什么样的地位和角色?对于时代的发展具有什么样的义务和责任?每当我们面对受众亿万双充满期盼的眼睛时,是否敢问心无愧地回答,我们已尽到了职责。这如同农民在他拥有的土地上,为人们奉献出了品质优良的粮食和蔬菜;工人在他拥有的矿石原料中,冶炼出了优质的钢材;而我们电视人,拥有着丰富的电视节目资源,我们没有理由不为受众呈献上精品电视节目。随着电视事业的迅速发展,电视节目资源问题愈来愈受到业内人的重视。在20年前,电视处于最初普及发展阶段时,电视节目资源意识在电视人头脑里是相当淡漠的,甚至有人认为电视节目不存在资源问题,摄像机镜头指向哪里,哪里就是节目,被拍摄和纪录的人和事物既拍不少、也拍不饱,根本不存在浪费资源一说。然而当电视发展到今天,这一观点早已是不攻自破,电视节目资源的重要性日益凸现出来,成为电视创新发展的一个十分重要的问题。
