本文选取了30篇中国高校英语专业应用语言学硕士论文,并提取出其中的引言部分,运用Swales的CARS(Creating A Research Space,即创建一个研究空间)模式(1990)来进行分析。在该模式中,共有三个语步,每个语步又包含几个步骤。本研究将分析得出这些语步和步骤的分布,并尝试解释这种分布的原因。最后,通过分析得出中国高校英语专业应用语言学硕士论文引言部分在何种程度上遵循Swales的CARS模式,为如何英语专业硕士研究生撰写论文的引言部分提供一定的建议和参考。
This thesis chooses 30 master’s thesis in applied linguistics of Chinese college English majors and extracts the introduction part, and analyzes it by using the Swales CARS (Creating A Research Space) model (1990). There are a total of three steps in this pattern, each of which involves several steps. This study will analyze the distribution of these steps and steps and try to explain the reasons for this distribution. At last, it analyzes the extent to which the introductory part of the applied linguistics master’s thesis in Chinese colleges and universities follows the CARS model of Swales, and provides some suggestions and references for how to write an introductory part of the thesis for the master of English majors.
