科学家们发明了一些新型建筑材料,可以使绿色建筑更加节能、环保。我们一起去认识一下建材家的新成员吧。会调节温度的胶囊德国化学巨头巴斯夫研发出一种胶囊物质,可以自动调节房间的温度。原来,这种胶囊里面含有相变材料。相变材料就是随温度变化而改变形态,并在此过程中吸收或释放热量的物质。这种材料在室温条件下熔化,吸收热量,使白天的房间温度基本保持恒定,就好像饮料里的冰块通过融化使饮料降温一样。到了晚上,温度降低,胶囊重新变硬,从而释放出白天贮存的热量。在南欧一些国家,这种材料在白天可以吸收足够多的热量,从而减少多达20%的空调电力需求。

Capsules that regulate temperature German chemical giant BASF has developed a capsule that automatically regulates the temperature of a room. It turned out that this capsule contains phase change material. Phase change material is the material that changes shape with temperature and absorbs or releases heat during this process. This material melts at room temperature and absorbs heat, keeping the room temperature during the day essentially constant as if the ice in the beverage cooled the beverage by melting. In the evening, the temperature drops and the capsules harden again, releasing the heat stored during the day. In some southern European countries, this material absorbs enough heat during the day to reduce up to 20% of air-conditioning power demand.
