9月中旬,中央党史研究室在北京召开“纪念党的八大召开40周年学术讨论会”。作为参加者之一,聆听各位研究人员的发言,细读会议印发的论文,深受教育与启发。特别是对八大的历史地位、八大路线中断的原因、研究八大的现实意义,有了进一步的认识。在履行参加讨论会的情况汇报后,现应有关同志要求,作此文字记述。
In mid-September, the Central Party History Research Center held a “Symposium to Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Party’s Eighth Congress” in Beijing. As one of the participants, I listened to the speeches of all the researchers, read the essays published in the conference, and were deeply educated and inspired. In particular, the historical status of the “8th Congress” and the reasons for the interruption of the “8th National Congress of the CPC” and the realistic significance of studying the “8th National Congress of the CPC” have been further recognized. After fulfilling the report on the situation of participating in the symposium, it should be described by the relevant commanders upon request.
