陈明同志是马克思主义理论家、教育家,又是革命的实践家。他早年参加革命,曾留学前苏联。 陈明同志是福建龙岩人,1921年与邓子恢等发起组织“奇山书社”,1923年9月创办了闽西地区最早的革命刊物《岩山报》,在传播马克思主义方面起了先导作用。1924年加人共青团,同年转入共产党。在大革命和土地革命战争时期,在北伐东路军负责宣传工作兼情报工作,1927年春任中共福建龙溪县委书记。同年7月党中央军事部长周恩来派陈明为中共中央福建省党务特派员,12月被选为福建省
Comrade Chen Ming is a Marxist theorist and educator as well as a revolutionary practitioner. He participated in the revolution early, had studied in the former Soviet Union. Comrade Chen Ming was from Longyan, Fujian Province. In 1921, he initiated “Qishan Shu She” with Deng Zicheng and others. In 1922 September, he founded Rock and Roll Hill, the earliest revolutionary publication in western Fujian, which played a leading role in spreading Marxism. In 1924 joined the Communist Youth League, the same year transferred to the Communist Party. During the Revolution and the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the Northern Expedition Eighth Route Army was responsible for propaganda and intelligence work. In the spring of 1927, he was secretary of the Longxi County Committee of Fujian Province. In July the same year, Zhou Enlai, party secretary of the Central Military Commission sent Chen Ming as the party special commissioner of the CPC Central Committee in Fujian Province and was elected as Fujian Province in December
