窃听器,英语叫“Bug”,和“臭虫”是同一个词。在国外,由于竞争剧烈,特别是由于苏美两霸争夺的加剧,无论在政治、外交还是经济斗争中,窃听器都会作为一种窃取情报的工具而经常潜伏在周围,真象是夏天的臭虫。 1945年,苏联官员在一个非常友好的场合,送给美国大使哈里曼一份珍贵的礼物——一个雕刻得很好的美国国徽,即一只木雕的老鹰。哈里曼大使非常珍惜它,把它挂在自己的书房里。谁知就在这只老鹰体内装有一个不甚复杂的窃听器。从此,书房里只要有谈话的声音,苏联特务在和大使馆相隔一条街的房子里就可以听到。他们有效
