口译课程是高校英语专业高年级学生的必修课程。近年来,独立学院也纷纷开设口译课程,旨在培养应用性口译人才。然而,独立学院口译教学在课程设置、师资力量、课堂教学模式和硬件设施等方面都存在明显不足。为了培养出符合市场需求的口译人才,独立学院应当结合自身的特点,改进教学模式,加强师资力量,改善口译教学设施,丰富学生的口译实践经验。
Interpreting courses are compulsory courses for seniors in college English. In recent years, independent colleges also have set up courses in interpreting to train applicative interpreters. However, the independent college interpreting teaching has obvious deficiencies in the curriculum, faculty, classroom teaching mode and hardware facilities. In order to cultivate interpreters who meet the needs of the market, Independent Colleges should improve their teaching mode, strengthen teachers ’ability, improve teaching facilities for interpreting, and enrich students’ practical experience in interpretation based on their own characteristics.
