Tumor suppressor gene NDRG2 is a differentially expressed gene between a variety of tumor tissues and normal tissues, which is involved in the regulation of proliferation and differentiation of tumor cells and plays an important regulatory role in tumorigenesis, development and prognosis. In colorectal cancer tissues, NDRG2 expression was significantly lower than normal tissues, and NDRG2 low expression staging later, the prognosis worse. Although a large number of genetic molecular frameworks involved in the evolution of colorectal cancer are now basically understood, the biological function of NDRG2 has not yet been fully elucidated and its value in gene therapy of colorectal cancer needs to be explored.
