法国画家保罗·德拉罗什经常因一句“从今天起,绘画已死”而被摄影史提及,但是究竟他是否真的有过这样的表述?以及他在19世纪摄影术刚刚被认知的年代与摄影术有过什么关联?都很少在中文摄影界中论及。但是,去年北京一场影像拍卖会中的一件拍品,恰好为我们提供了关切这一问题的极佳角度及实证。
The French painter Paul de La Roche is often mentioned in the history of photography because of the sentence “Now that painting is dead”, but did he really have such a statement? And he had just been photographed in the 19th century What is the relationship between cognitive age and photography? Are rarely mentioned in Chinese photography. However, one of the lots in a video auction in Beijing last year happened to give us an excellent perspective and an empirical evidence on this issue.
