画面是电视新闻的基本组成部分,对电视新闻来讲,画面至关重要。电视同其它新闻媒体的根本区别就在于,它是能够让人“耳闻目睹”的双通道媒体。电视能够后来居上,在短短的几十年间,将亿万观众吸引到自己的周围,原因之一就是它有幸富多彩的画面。可以说,没有画面,电视的魅力也就无从谈起。 众所周知的美国有线电视网CNN,即使听不懂英语的人,也愿意坐在电视机旁多呆—会,这是为什么呢?因为电视画面本身就很有吸引力。相比较而言,西方电视新闻工作者比我们国内的同行更重视电视新闻画面的表现力,在这方面的处理技巧也更娴熟。
