九六年十月三十日在西安美院观看了全国美术院校师生速写展.是日观者如堵,时闻惊讶之声,有的同学甚至看过三、四次.百川竞流,洋洋大观,鲜活的生活光彩如一轮明月映射在大小溪流湖泊江海似的速写画作上.归来,我写了如下感触:直观、生动、深入、多样、精到、简明、灵活、自如、奇特、趣味隽永,故能吸引人.由于它直接切入生活,创造意识随机输入,自主语解控制完成,既手眼并练,提高了写生描绘能力,又积累了多种形象资料,可供他日翻阅参考;而有的已是绘画创作品的雏形,几经推敲.便可成各个画种之创作;甚至,有的速写具有着深沉之内涵与结实之功力,便已经可称得起是创作了.有自信心、体悟性,持之以恒久练功成,谁都可以画出有风格神韵(风神)的速写.当今速写概念已有所扩展,已经不单单是快笔所为,为搜集素材所为,为补充素描基本训练之所为,而把慢写、素描以及种种纳不入其它画种之画作或是其他画种之草图,由此展览看,都成了速写.这也没有什么不好,只能说明速写威望之高,都想投诚归附于它.它成了艺术中之“不管部”,画种不管之画都属它管,或够不上画种要求档次的画也属它管(不是这些画不好,而是不够规范吧).却为早年画速写人始料所未及.
