辣椒 (Capsicum annuum L.)品种 Shishitoh5 6 2 ,Chigusa和 Jalapeno的种子用秋水仙碱(1.0 % )处理获得四倍体植株。这几个品种的四倍体椒果的平均种子数和成熟果长分别为其二倍体果的 18%和 74 %。品种 Chigusa的四倍体果径和果重比二倍体的增加 10 %。二倍体和四倍体果形态学方面的差异在秋水仙碱处理的当代和其继代上都几乎一样
The seeds of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) varieties Shishitoh5 6 2, Chigusa and Jalapeno were treated with colchicine (1.0%) to obtain tetraploid plants. The average seed number and mature fruit length of tetraploid capsicum in these varieties were 18% and 74% of their diploid fruit respectively. The tetraploid fruit diameter and fruit weight of the cultivar Chigusa increased by 10% compared with the diploid. Differences in diploid and tetraploid morphological morphology are almost identical in the contemporary and subsequent generations of colchicine treatment
