覃申媛的名字,近几年传遍三湘四水,在全国教育系统也广为人知。今年教师节前夕,趁她来长沙参加省党代会的机会,我们再次访问了她。还是那么精神,还是那么充满热情。除了头上间或增添几根银丝之外,她没有变。在艰苦、闭塞的大山沟石门县罗坪乡蛟蛇溪村,她已经工作22年了,对这里的一草一木,她都产生了深厚的感情。一见面,她就向我们谈起了她的蛟蛇溪。记得本刊的报道中曾有过这样的介绍:那时,四百多人的蛟蛇溪,连个初中生都没有。有一年,有关单位来招工,年轻人都兴高采烈地报名,但因要求初中文化,只得眼巴巴地望着招工的同志空手而归,小伙子瞪着自己胳膊上隆起的肌肉,伤心地流泪……
