目的观察旋毛虫感染对链脲佐菌素(STZ)诱导小鼠产生Ⅰ型糖尿病(type 1diabetes mellitus,T1DM)的影响。方法将46只BALB/c小鼠分为6组,A组(7只)为单纯旋毛虫感染组,B组(7只)为旋毛虫感染急性期(感染后1周)STZ诱导T1DM组,C组(7只)为旋毛虫感染慢性期(感染后7周)STZ诱导T1DM组;D组(11只)、E组(7只)均为单纯STZ诱导T1DM组(分别为B、C组的对照),F组(7只)为空白对照(正常小鼠);应用血糖仪监测各组小鼠血糖水平,光镜下观察小鼠胰腺病理变化。结果旋毛虫感染后STZ诱导T1DM小鼠的胰岛病理变化与单纯STZ诱导T1DM小鼠的相似;在感染急性期T1DM小鼠的血糖水平显著降低,在慢性期血糖无显著变化。结论旋毛虫感染不能阻止STZ诱导小鼠发生T1DM。
Objective To investigate the effect of Trichinella spiralis infection on type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) induced by streptozotocin (STZ) in mice. Methods Totally 46 BALB / c mice were divided into 6 groups. Group A (7 mice) was infected with Trichinella spiralis alone and group B (7 mice) with STZ induced T1DM in the acute phase of Trichinella spiralis infection (1 week after infection) Group C (n = 7) was induced by STZ in the chronic phase of Trichinella spiralis infection (7 weeks after infection). Group D (n = 11) and group E (Control group). Group F (n = 7) served as blank control (normal mice). The blood glucose level of mice in each group was monitored by blood glucose meter. Pathological changes of pancreas were observed under light microscope. Results The islet pathological changes of STDM induced T1DM mice after Trichinella spiralis infection were similar to that of T1DM mice induced by STZ alone. The blood glucose level of T1DM mice was significantly decreased in acute stage of infection, but no significant change in chronic phase of blood glucose. Conclusion Trichinella infection does not prevent T1DM induced by STZ in mice.
