辛亥革命前后,京剧演出的舞台上出现一大批表现辛亥革命、传播政治观念、启蒙民众的新戏,这不仅是受到戏曲改良运动的影响,也是戏曲商业化演进的一部分。京津沪等地大量出现的新戏推动了政治宣传,传播了革命观念,成为辛亥革命时期社会文化变迁的重要组成部分。
Before and after the Revolution of 1911, there appeared a large number of new scenes showing the Revolution of 1911, disseminating political concepts and enlightening the people on the stage of the Beijing Opera performance. This was not only affected by the reform movement but also the commercial evolution of the opera. A great number of new plays in Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai promoted political propaganda and spread the concept of revolution, becoming an important part of the social and cultural changes during the Revolution of 1911.
