碱性成纤维细胞生长因子(bFGF)是一种兼有促有丝分裂原、血管生长因子、分化因子及神经营养因子等多种功能的生物活性物质。bFGF在视网膜的多种细胞内均有表达,参与视网膜细胞的分化、增生及损伤修复以及视网膜新生血管(RNV)的形成。bFGF与糖尿病性视网膜病变、视网膜静脉阻塞、早产儿视网膜病变等多种RNV相关性疾病有关,但在RNV形成中的作用尚存在争议,与其他因子协同促RNV形成可能是bFGF主要的作用机制。就bFGF的生物学特性以及与RNV的关系作一综述。
Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) is a biologically active substance that combines multiple functions such as mitogen, vascular growth factor, differentiation factor and neurotrophic factor. bFGF is expressed in a variety of cells in the retina and is involved in retinal cell differentiation, proliferation and injury repair as well as retinal neovascularization (RNV) formation. bFGF is associated with several RNV-related diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion and retinopathy of prematurity. However, the role of bFGF in the formation of RNV remains controversial. The synergistic effect of bFGF and RNV formation may be the main mechanism of bFGF. The biological characteristics of bFGF and the relationship with RNV were reviewed.
