本文以功能学者杰旺(Givǒn)的理论和方法为出发点,分析零形式指同在《左传》话语中的分布以及促成零形式指同在《左传》话语中使用的因素。这个个案研究也修改了杰旺的方法,以进一步考察所指距离和潜在干扰这两个因素在《左传》话语里对选择使用零形式指同所起的实际作用以及它们的相互关系。除了考察所指距离和潜在干扰外,本文还分析了其它因素在选择过程中所起的作用。通过这个个案研究,本文对杰旺的理论和方法提出了看法。
Based on Givǒn’s theory and method, this paper analyzes the distribution of zero forms in the discourse of Zuo Zhuan and the factors that promote the use of zero forms in the discourse of Zuo Zhuan. This case study also modified Jayhin’s approach to further examine the actual role played by the two methods of “zero-for-one” designation and their interdependence in “Zuozhuan” discourse, referring to both distance and potential disruption. In addition to examining the distances referred to and the potential for interference, this article also examines the role of other factors in the selection process. Through this case study, this article puts forward some opinions on Jayant’s theory and method.
