In January 1953, the towns of Pingxiang and Pingnan of Pingxiang were designated by the Guangxi Provincial Government as two of the first six ports open to the public. Pingxiang, the border town of the southern border of the motherland, has become more eye-catching and glorious after 50 years of baptism. Pingxiang City is 32 kilometers and 170 kilometers away from the city of Lang Son, Vietnam, and Hanoi, the capital city. The border line is 97 kilometers long and has two national first class ports.
