The gray relational analysis was used to evaluate the ten new winter wheat lines that participated in the regional trials in the north central part of Hebei province from 1997 to 1998. The results showed that the correlation coefficients between Tang 93-5 0 1 5 and Cangxian 0 30 were the highest (0 85 43 and 0 80 45, respectively), the comprehensive characters were good, and the comprehensive evaluation results were consistent with the actual performance of breeds
