译者主体性是随着哲学阐释学理论而出现的一个新的翻译理论,主要体现了译者发挥自己的主观能动性,在当前历史文化语境下,对原文本进行有目的性的阐释。这种主体性体现在译者对于原文本的情感投入、词汇及句式结构的再创造以及不同文化的吸收等方面,力求译本既能够贴近原文,又能够便于汉语读者理解,这种主体性在《德伯家的苔丝》的不同中文译本中有充分的表现。
The translator’s subjectivity is a new translation theory that emerges with the theory of philosophical hermeneutics. It mainly embodies the translator’s initiative in his own initiative and purposeful interpretation of the original text under the current historical and cultural context. This kind of subjectivity is reflected in the translator’s affective input on the original text, the re-creation of the lexical and syntactical structures, and the absorption of different cultures, so that the translation can be close to the original text and can be easily understood by Chinese readers. The different Chinese versions of “The Tess of the Toothsay” are well represented.
