This article expounds Deng Xiaoping’s idea of national solidarity and the important significance of Deng Xiaoping’s national unity in the new period in order to realize the unity of all ethnic groups in terms of realizing the political basis, ideological foundation, ways of realization and ultimate goal of national unity.
