作为一代传奇女性,宋美龄的名字大家耳熟能详。她能力出众,智慧超群,是中国历史上风华绝代的名流;作为女性,她温婉柔媚,精通诗书琴画,讲究生活品质,是中国女性中的佼佼者。宋美龄如此丰富多彩,堪称风华绝代,要创作出她的形象,难度可想而知。就我而言,她的照片看过很多张,人物传记也翻过好几种版本,对她有了一定的认识,但毕竟没见过她本人,要在一张画作里传达出她的神韵,并非易事。创作的第一步是必须更深入地了解宋美龄,为作品能达形神兼备的境界奠定基础。我精心挑选了一百多张照片资料,将《宋美龄画传》《宋美龄传》《美丽与哀愁——真实的宋美龄》《桃花映面宋美龄》《百年美龄》等书与照片一起对照着看,越看越迷茫,越看越觉得无从着笔。老实讲,像宋美龄这样光彩夺目的女性人物,各个年龄阶段均可入画,且都有迹可循。我原想画她在台上演讲时的身姿,但怕会落 As a generation of legendary women, the name of Soong Mei-ling is familiar to everyone.
