Through the study on the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on five summer sown maize varieties in the suburbs of Beijing, the sensitivity of each variety to chemical fertilizer was clarified. The results showed that at present, Tang-5, which is planted in a large area, is a non-sensitive type of fertilizer and has a stable yield at medium and low fertility levels. However, it is more difficult to obtain higher yield under high-fertility conditions.
