中国工艺美术历史悠久,是中华文化宝库中一颗璀璨的明珠,在国际上久负盛名。中国疆域辽阔,不同地域的居民形成了各自独特的生活习俗和丰富多彩的生产活动,于是自然而然地形成各自独有的工艺美术特色。江苏是工艺美术大省,有“东方工艺美术之都”称号。而著名古都、省会城市南京人文荟萃,拥有一批国家级、省级工艺大师和工艺美术名人,整体实力在全国领先。南京工艺美术门类全,精品多,充分显现南京的资源优势和民俗风情,引起海内外众多嘉宾、鉴赏家、收藏家的广泛兴趣。记者最近就南京工艺美术特色和发展以及在海内外的交流情况,重点采访了南京工艺美术总公司等几家知名单位,其间让我们深深感受一番浓郁的艺术韵味,也挖掘到一些感人的故事。
Chinese arts and crafts have a long history and are a bright pearl in the treasure house of Chinese culture. They have enjoyed a good reputation in the world.
