嘱为诗话三载乃成在港期间,有一天我与曹越先生及香港中国通讯社郭招金社长侍坐于南师寓所。南师赠我《金粟轩纪年诗初集》一部,当时匆匆翻阅,见南师诗作格律谨严,文词雅驯,声调铿锵,且意境深邃,颇具古人韵味,实为难得一见之佳制,便连声赞叹。赞叹之余,又深感诗集中没有注释,恐怕会影响读者对诗作的理解。南师听罢,很是赞同,对我说:“原有此意,只是没有找到适合的人来做,你如果有兴趣,就来做做这个事。”
