这是一支普通而特殊的铅笔。说它普通,是因为它和其他铅笔一样,可以流畅地书写,轻松地擦除;说它特殊,是因为它来自中南海,是我参加国务院的活动时从中南海拿回来的。
This is a normal and special pencil. It is normal because it, like other pencils, can be written smoothly and easily erased. It was special because it came from Zhongnanhai and was taken back from Zhongnanhai when I attended the State Department’s activities.
