新联村民组现有68户,茶园总面积213亩。其中有条栽,也有丛栽,树势衰老,缺棵严重,土壤瘠薄,单产较低的中、低产茶园占全组茶园面积的68％,对全组茶叶产量起着举足轻重的作用,如能改造得好,全组茶叶产量和效益就能显著增加。为此,我们先后召开干部会和农户会,通过协商,制定方案,决定进行连续五年的改造以提高全组茶叶产量和经济效益。
