杰克是一个在城市街头推车卖小东西的小贩。他的推车上有一个起特殊作用的盒子,里面装着乘公交车所需用的硬币。每当有乘客匆忙中发现忘了准备硬币时,杰克便会笑嘻嘻地递上一枚,说“:来,拿着这个,下回再还。”有乘客也许再也不会坐这趟线的公交了,也就没有机会还杰克钱了,杰克也从不介意。烈日骄阳,如果有口干舌燥的过往行人从杰克的车前经过,他便会麻利地从推车上取出一瓶矿泉水,说:“来,拿着这个,下次再给钱。”
Jack is a peddler who sells small things in the streets of the city. There is a special box on his cart that contains the coins needed for the bus. Whenever a passenger discovers that he forgot to prepare a coin in a hurry, Jack will smile and hand over one and say, “Come on, hold this, and return it again.” Some passengers may never sit on this line again. Bus, there is no chance to pay Jack money, Jack never mind. In the hot sun, if thirsty passers-by passed by Jack’s car, he would take a bottle of mineral water from the cart, and said, “Come on, take this, and give money next time.”
